| When a new model of vehicle comes out and no manufacturer makes a dash kit to install a new indash video/dvd player the "other guys" send 'em to Dukes, where we say "yes we can". |
|
|
| We start by wrapping the factory faceplate in plastic so it doesn't get harmed by the fiberglass resin during the custom molding process. |
|
|
| After the mold is complete, we have a fiberglass plate to begin making our custom dash kit. |
|
|
| After much trimming, sanding, and test fitting we finally have our dash kit ready for paint. |
|
|
| If the part is not perfect at this stage there is no way the completed project will look nice in the dash. |
|
|
| The final product fits in the dash with no gaps around the radio or where the kit meets the dash, so it has that OEM factory look. |
